Wal-Mart has always been an amazing place to go shopping, but one day I decided that it would be an amazing idea to break into a Wal-Mart because I needed a paintball gun for my adventure that next day. This idea came into my head after I had figured out that a group of friends were going paintballing and decided to tell me at eight pm the night before. I have always loved to go to Wal-Mart and thought that it would be the perfect place to get the paintball gun that I needed. So I put on my all black outfit so I would be practically invisible in the dark and drove over to the store. I ended up entering the building through a cracked window that I decided to shatter just for the heck of it. So now that I am in the store, it comes to my mind that there is food in the store, and I love chocolate and would do anything if someone was giving me chocolate. I go over to the section here all the chocolate, or in other work junk food is kept and start crushing some Hersey’s milk chocolate and some Kit Kat’s as those are my favorite two chocolates, and this is when I hear someone’s footsteps. At this point I am terrified as I have never done anything like this before and don’t want to get caught for a mere paintball gun. I take a minute to think about what I should do and decide to leave the store without the gun. As I am walking towards the door, I happen to walk across the paintball guns and I am so excited at this point, as I can get what I came here for. As I am looking for which one to take, I totally do not notice this very tall woman who is standing there at the other end doing the same thing I am. Instead of leaving I approach her and turns out that she works in a dental office and she is in love with the dentist. We end up talking for talking for hours and then notice that the lights are on and that its time for the store to open and end up sneaking out together and talking some more over break.

Stressful Week
This week was a tough week for me but I got a lot accomplished which makes this week a little more bearable. This week started with my getting no sleep as usual. I have been averaging about 30 hours of sleep every week, which is not even close to being enough sleep. Along with no sleep, I also had to worry about my multivariable test which was on Thursday and then my Resident Advisor interviews on Friday and Saturday. The only entertainment I had this week was the awesome basketball game that was on Tuesday and right after I had my intramural five on five basketball game, both of which turned out to be really good for me since we won against Wake Forest and my team won our intramural game too.
I spent my whole Wednesday studying for my multivariable test which was a big deal for me since I wanted to get off to a good start in that class especially since math is not really my best subject and it is a hard subject as it is. I studied for about six hours on Wednesday and then another two hours before the test. Then came the actual test and it went pretty well until I got to the third page and had no idea what I was doing. I walked out feeling okay about my test and hoping to get a B at least.
The most nerve racking part of my week is still to come, which is the interview for my RA position as I am not really an outgoing person and speaking to a person face to face about myself is a really hard thing to do when you have a shy personality. If I get through this part of the process it would be a great accomplishment for me and a big step towards by goals in life. After this interview the process is a lot easier since the Saturday interview is a group interview and shouldn’t be that bad since I work really well in groups. I can’t wait for this week to be over so I can enjoy my weekend and the upcoming week which will hopefully bring less stress and pressure.

March 1st
As many college students know, March first is a very important day for almost everyone who is planning to or is attending college. March first this year is especially an important day for me since I have so many scholarships and grants to be submitted by that due date. Along with those deadlines there is also the financial aid deadline which is also on the same day as those scholarship deadlines. That is not even close to being the end of everything that is due by that date. The last two but the most important things that are due by March first are my instate tuition form since I am doing ocean engineering and I am allowed to get instate tuition since it is not offered in any public universities in Maryland, my home state. Finally the last thing is that I find out whether or not I got my Resident advisor position on march first, which is very important to me since it would be a great building block for me and my confidence, as I am trying to prove a point to myself.
March first does also bring something a little less stressful, it reminds me that my birthday is only seventeen days away and this is always a good day to alive and give thanks for everything you have in your life. This is probably the most important thing on my mind right now since I am cranking out essay after essay in order to complete all five of the scholarships that I am applying for. Along with those come all the emails that I have to send to the ocean engineering department everyday in order to figure out what I am supposed to do for my instate tuition.
I am glad to say that I am making some progress as I have finished one of my scholarships and I also completed my financial aid application yesterday, so that’s two less things that I need to worry about in the next two weeks and this should make my life a little, but not too much easier. I looking forward to that day when I can relax and say that I have finished everything and the only thing on my mind will be that my birthday is in seventeen days.

Resolutions
This year started off with a bang for me since I spent New Year’s Eve with my friends and was away from family for the first time in my eighteen years of existence. We watched the ball drop as most people do that day and played some card games to pass the time. This is when I told myself that I would do things differently this year, which meant eating healthier and working out a lot more than I did the whole first semester of college. I played a lot more basketball that first semester but that doesn’t exactly count as working out, not to me at least.
I have been working out everyday this semester, as in running every day, a minimum of at least three miles a day. Then comes the hard part of the work out which includes sit ups, push up and pull ups, all three sets of them and the number of each one increases as the weeks go on. Pushups go up by two every week and sit ups by five and pull ups by one. I also lift weights three times a week sometimes four times a week. This is because I want to get stronger physically and not be just skin and bones.
Along with all of the activities above comes the most fun part which is playing basketball after doing all this about three times a week. I love basketball and have been playing since I was about eight. I used to be really bad at it but then with practice and growing about eight inches over one summer, I got a lot better and now I can’t stop playing. The sport requires both mental and physical strength which is another reason why I am lifting so that I can do more stuff on the basketball court and not just have to stick with shooting long three pointers.
The eating healthy part of my resolution is working out pretty well but the only bad thing about working out so much is that you eat more than you previously did, and at the weirdest times of the day which is not a good thing. This is the only thing that I need to work on and I will be on my way to making my resolution come true.
